Brace For Impact: Ethereum Price Could Plunge To $1,200 In December, Says Expert

Ethereum (ETH) price has struggled amid another market shakeout. The second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization fell below the $2,600 support zone for the third time in the past week, prompting crypto analysts to evaluate the next levels to watch out. Related Reading: Is Ethereum Poised for Inflation? Supply Reaches New High as Staking Takes Off ETHs Key Support Zone To Watch Out The crypto market has seen several retraces throughout the cycle, with cryptocurrencies like Ethereum significantly decreasing from its Q3 opening. Since July 1, the king of altcoins has seen a 24% drop from the $3,400 support level. Following its fall below the $2,100 mark during the Black Monday crash, ETH has hovered between the $2,300 and $2,700 range. The cryptocurrency has recovered around 18% of its price while tries to reclaim the $2,600 level. Nonetheless, the recent market shakeouts have made the price retest the strength of the $2,500 support zone three times in the last two weeks, which turned experts wary of ETHs next step. Renowned crypto analyst Ali Martinez stated that investors should pay attention to a key support zone after Ethereums performance. To Martinez, the $2,300 and $2,380 price range should be watched if ETH continues its downward trend. According to the In/Out of the Money Around Price (IOMAP) chat shared by Martinez, 1.62 million addresses bought over 50 million ETH at this zone, making it the next wall of support for Ethereums price. If the cryptocurrency fails to hold this level, its price could drop to $2,200 and even levels not seen since February. Will Ethereum Drop To $1,200 This Year? Other experts have suggested that the second-largest cryptocurrency could see its price drop even lower, as even giants will fall. Top analyst Benjamin Cowen stated that the collapse of ETH/BTC is almost completed. A year ago, Cowen forecasted that the collapse of the trading pair would mark the end of the altcoin reckoning. He explained that altcoin reckoning refers to the devaluation of the altcoins on their BTC pairs. The analyst added that ETC/BTC was the last one to rise in the bull and it can be the last to fall in the bear. To him, this trading pair has four more months before it goes up next year. Additionally, Cowen predicted that Ethereums price could hit the $1,200 price range in December if its performance is similar to the last two cycles. Crypto investor Ted Pillows urged investors to hold on throughout the troubled waters, suggesting that a $10,000 is still possible. To the trader, the King of altcoins is not dead based on different factors. Ted highlighted that spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) inflows have increased while Grayscale outflows have progressively gotten smaller, and Jump Trading has only around $60 million in ETH to sell. Ethereum Consolidates As Accumulation Trend Develops New Bullish Phase Ahead?

Ethereum is under pressure after failing to break above the $1,874 high set on May 1st, a level that now acts as stiff resistance. As the broader crypto market begins to heat up, Ethereum remains stuck in a tight range, lacking the momentum to confirm a breakout. Currently trading just above $1,800, ETH sits at a critical level where bulls must step in to defend the structure and push the price higher. Related Reading: Avalanche Bounces Off Key Price Level: Top Indicator Flashes A Buy Signal Despite several attempts, Ethereum has been unable to establish a clear direction, and market participants are growing cautious. The asset is still down over 55% from its December highs, reflecting a prolonged period of weakness relative to other major cryptocurrencies. Without a strong push through resistance, Ethereum risks falling further behind. Top crypto investor Michael Van de Poppe recently shared a technical analysis suggesting that Ethereum is still in an accumulation phase. According to Van de Poppe, ETH shows signs of strength and accumulation against BTC in the background, but needs confirmation through a decisive breakout above current levels. Until then, Ethereum remains range-bound and vulnerable to volatility. With market sentiment shifting and major moves looming, the coming days will be crucial for ETHs short-term outlook. Ethereum Accumulation: ETH/BTC Chart Hints At Imminent Move Ethereum continues to struggle below the $2,000 mark, failing to reclaim key resistance levels despite broader market activity heating up. While ETH/USD remains directionless and still trades over 55% below its December highs, a closer look at the ETH/BTC chart reveals something more constructive brewing beneath the surface. Van de Poppe recently shared an analysis highlighting a clear accumulation structure forming in the ETH/BTC pair. After months of consistent downside, the chart shows Ethereum breaking out of a falling wedge and consolidating in a tight range just below critical resistance at 0.0195 BTC. According to Van de Poppe, this is a classic accumulation pattern, signaling that Ethereum may be preparing for a significant breakout relative to Bitcoin. The chart also highlights a key demand zone around 0.0184 BTCan area ETH has repeatedly held. As long as this level holds, Van de Poppe believes Ethereum could continue to grind higher and eventually take out liquidity above resistance. A successful breakout could mark the start of Ethereum outperforming Bitcoin, a trend often seen during the altcoin expansion phase of a bull market. However, risks remain. The broader market is still heavily influenced by macroeconomic uncertainty, particularly surrounding U.S.-China tensions. For now, Ethereums upside case depends on holding current support and clearing the 0.0195 BTC resistance. If successful, this accumulation may become the base for a strong rally. Related Reading: Ethereum Breaks Massive Downtrend Price Structure Momentum Shift? ETH Price Consolidates In A Tight Range Ethereum is currently trading at $1,795.79 after a slight rejection from the $1,874 local high reached on May 1st. The daily chart shows ETH consolidating in a tight range following its rebound from Aprils lows near $1,500. However, despite this stabilization, ETH remains well below both the 200-day simple moving average (SMA) at $2,709.54 and the 200-day exponential moving average (EMA) at $2,437.55indicating that the broader trend is still bearish. While bulls have managed to prevent further downside, Ethereum has yet to break out of its long-term downtrend. The failure to reclaim $2,000 as support continues to cap bullish momentum, and volume has remained modest during recent price action, showing a lack of conviction from both buyers and sellers. The structure currently favors accumulation, but ETH must decisively clear the $1,875$2,000 resistance area to shift sentiment and validate a trend reversal. If it fails to do so, the risk of a renewed pullback toward the $1,650$1,700 support zone increases. Related Reading: Cardano Consolidates In Symmetrical Triangle Analyst Sets Bull/Bear Price Targets Overall, Ethereum is at a pivotal stage. Ethereum Consolidates Above $2,500 While BTC Leads the Charge Key Levels To Watch

Ethereum is gaining momentum as optimism returns to the crypto market. With Bitcoin officially entering price discovery and surging past its all-time highs, attention is turning toward ETH, which is now testing critical resistance levels. Ethereum has gained over 55% since early May, riding the wave of broader market strength and renewed investor confidence. However, despite the impressive recovery, ETH still lags behind Bitcoins pace and has yet to reclaim its 2021 highs. Related Reading: Litecoin Eyes $117.50 As Price Rebounds From Key Support Analyst Top analyst Daan shared a technical view highlighting that Ethereum has been chopping around the $2,400$2,600 zone since its explosive move earlier this month. This range-bound price action signals indecision, as buyers remain active but havent yet triggered a breakout. Daan notes that although Bitcoin is showing strong leadership with its push into new highs, Ethereums performance in this phase has been more muted. Still, the setup remains constructive for bulls. The $2,400 level has acted as solid support, while resistance above $2,800 remains the next target to clear for continuation. As Bitcoin continues to lead, ETH could be next in line to surgeif it can escape this range and follow BTCs lead into a new leg higher. All eyes are now on Ethereums next move. Ethereum Prepares For A Breakout As Altcoins Enter The Spotlight As Bitcoin surged to a new all-time high above $111K, the broader crypto market appears to be entering a fresh phase of momentum, one that could drive massive gains across altcoins. Among them, Ethereum remains in a critical position. While ETH hasnt followed BTCs breakout just yet, its holding firmly above support and showing signs of building strength. To confirm a bullish continuation, ETH needs to break decisively above resistance and lead the altcoin rally. Daan shared a technical view highlighting that ETH has been consolidating between the $2,400 and $2,600 levels since its last squeeze higher. Despite Bitcoins explosive move, Ethereum is once again lagging, a dynamic thats been reflected in a cooling ETH/BTC ratio. This underperformance has sparked debate among traders, with many waiting for ETH to catch up and drive the next altseason. Daan emphasized that the $2,500 zone has been well-defended by bulls, but ETH has yet to produce a convincing breakout. The key resistance level to watch is $2,850clearing it would mark a technical shift toward higher highs. On the flip side, if ETH falls below $2,100, it could trigger a broader pullback. For now, ETH remains range-bound but poised, with market sentiment growing more optimistic by the day. Related Reading: Solana Multi-Year Uptrend Holds Strong Analyst Sees SOL Breaking ATH This Year ETH Tests Critical Price Levels Ethereum is showing signs of renewed strength on the 4-hour chart, trading around $2,668 at the time of writing. After weeks of consolidation in the $2,400$2,600 range, ETH has pushed toward the upper boundary of this zone, hinting at a possible breakout. The recent bounce from support around $2,450 has been strong, with consecutive green candles and rising volume signaling increasing bullish momentum. The 200-period SMA and EMA, currently at $2,077 and $2,1,99 respectively, are well below the current price, confirming a bullish market structure. ETH has held above both moving averages since early May, and the current price action appears to be building up pressure for a decisive move. Related Reading: Dogecoin Momentum Fades Analyst Expects $0.213 Retest However, ETH must now break above $2,700 convincingly to confirm a breakout and signal a continuation toward higher resistance at $2,850 and beyond. This level has been tested multiple times, but sellers continue to defend it. A breakout could trigger a rapid move to $3,000, while failure to hold current levels could drag ETH back toward its previous support. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Ethereum Addresses In Profit Nearly Doubles Since April Lows Volatility Returns

Ethereum is holding firm above the $2,500 level after weeks of strong buying pressure and bullish momentum, despite having lost more than 60% of its value since December 2024. The assets resilience comes at a pivotal time: Bitcoin has officially broken its all-time high, triggering optimism that a new phase of the market cycle is beginningone that could deliver explosive gains for altcoins. Related Reading: Solana Multi-Year Uptrend Holds Strong Analyst Sees SOL Breaking ATH This Year For Ethereum to fulfill its usual leadership role in an altcoin rally, it must break above current resistance zones and confirm a recovery structure. As price action continues to develop, analysts are watching closely for signals that ETH is ready to outperform once again. To illustrate just how deep the correction was, Sentora (formerly IntoTheBlock) shared a key metric: after Ethereums sharp sell-off that began in December, the share of addresses in profit plunged from over 90% to just 32% by April 2025. The rebound since then has been remarkable, but the road to a full recovery is still developing. If Ethereum can maintain support and reclaim higher levels, the stage may be set for a broader altseason that could reshape sentiment across the crypto market. Volatility Grows: Ethereum Eyes A Breakout Ethereum bulls have regained control after a turbulent few months, forming a bullish price structure as the asset attempts to reclaim the $2,700 level. The surge began with a clean breakout above $2,200, and despite recent volatility, Ethereum is showing signs of strength. On Sunday, ETH spiked above $2,550 before retracing to $2,400 in a sharp pullback. Since then, price action has stabilized, and with Bitcoin pushing into new all-time highs, Ethereum appears poised to follow. Analysts now expect a potential breakout if ETH can flip $2,700 into support. Momentum is building as selling pressure fades, and buyer confidence grows. Many view this as a key inflection point: if bulls sustain their push, Ethereum could reassert leadership in a market increasingly tilted toward altcoins. Supporting this bullish outlook is fresh on-chain data from Sentora. Following a brutal drawdown that began in December 2024, the percentage of ETH addresses in profit collapsed from over 90% to just 32% by April 2025. Since then, the recovery has been dramaticnearly 60% of addresses are now back in profit. According to Sentora, this level of volatility hasnt been seen since the explosive 2017 bull cycle. If Ethereum continues this trend and breaks out of its current range, it may not only confirm a strong recovery but also spark the next major leg of altseason. Related Reading: Litecoin Eyes $117.50 As Price Rebounds From Key Support Analyst ETH Tests Critical Resistance Ethereum is now trading at a pivotal level, having surged to $2,687 with a 5.3% daily gain. The chart shows ETH challenging its 200-day simple moving average (SMA) at $2,702, a key technical barrier that has historically acted as resistance. After multiple failed attempts to break past this level in recent weeks, todays bullish momentum puts ETH on the verge of a potential breakout.   The bullish structure is supported by strong upward volume, signaling renewed buyer interest. Notably, the 200-day exponential moving average (EMA), currently at $2,444, has provided solid support throughout May, creating a base for this upward push. If Ethereum decisively closes above the $2,700 region, it could set the stage for a rally toward $3,000 and beyond, confirming a shift in trend after months of bearish pressure. Related Reading: Dogecoin Momentum Fades Analyst Expects $0.213 Retest However, the price is still within a consolidation range, and bulls must hold above $2,600 to maintain this breakout potential. Failure to do so may result in a short-term retracement back to the $2,400$2,450 demand zone. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Bulls In Control: Ethereum Longs See Biggest Candle Ever After ETF News

Data suggests users on Binance responded to the Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF) news by aggressively longing the cryptocurrency. Ethereum Net Taker Volume On Binance Has Just Seen Its Biggest Candle Ever As explained by CryptoQuant community manager Maartunn in a post on X, the Ethereum Net Taker Volume has observed a sharp increase after rumors have surfaced that the ETH spot ETFs have a renewed chance of gaining approval. The “Net Taker Volume” here refers to an indicator that keeps track of the difference between the ETH taker buy and taker sell volumes on any given centralized exchange. Related Reading: Litecoin Whales Go On $230 Million Buying Spree: Will This Change LTCs Stars? When the value of this metric is positive, it means that the taker buy or long volume is outpacing the taker sell or short volume on the platform right now. Such a trend implies a bullish sentiment is dominant among the investors. On the other hand, the indicator being negative suggests the presence of a majority bearish mentality among the users of the exchange as the shorts are outpacing the longs. Now, here is a chart that shows the trend in the Ethereum Net Taker Volume on the cryptocurrency exchange Binance over the last few years: As displayed in the above graph, the Ethereum Net Taker Volume on Binance has just registered a huge positive spike, the implying investors have just opened a large amount of longs on the platform. More specifically, the indicator’s value during this spike has been $530 million, which, according to the analyst, is the single largest spike the cryptocurrency has ever seen. “Binance-traders are longing the Ethereum ETF-news like there is no tomorrow,” notes Maartunn. This isn’t particularly surprising, considering the market is very well aware what a spot ETF could mean for the asset after having witnessed what went down for Bitcoin. The ETF news pre-approval had been bullish for BTC and while the approval itself had initially led to bearish price action, it eventually paid off for the asset as capital started rapidly flowing in through these investment vehicles and the coin enjoyed a rally that led to a new all-time high (ATH). In another X post, the CryptoQuant analyst pointed out that the Ethereum Open Interest has shot up as well. The “Open Interest” measures the total amount of ETH-related positions that are currently open on all derivative exchanges. This trend isn’t that unexpected, given that derivatives users have been opening a large amount of longs for the asset. With this rapid surge, the Ethereum Open Interest has managed to set a new ATH. Related Reading: Bitcoin Profit-Taking Has Completed, Top Analyst Reveals Historically, intense speculation has generally led to more volatility for the coin, as the risk of large liquidations happening can become high in such periods. As such, this Open Interest spike may signal some turbulent times ahead for Ethereum. Ethereum Multi-Year Consolidation Could Spark A Parabolic Move Details

Ethereum is holding strong above the $2,500 mark after a sharp rally in recent weeks, signaling renewed bullish momentum across the market. The second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap is now consolidating just below key resistance levels, with traders and analysts closely watching price action for confirmation of the next move. Bulls appear to be in control, with Ethereum reclaiming critical levels that were previously broken during months of sustained selling pressure. Related Reading: Solana Sees Renewed Demand As Capital Flows Turn Positive Details Market sentiment is shifting fast, and speculation about a broader altcoin bull phase continues to grow. Many investors believe Ethereums current structure could be laying the groundwork for a long-awaited breakout. Top analyst Mister Crypto shared a technical analysis highlighting that Ethereum has been consolidating within a multi-year range, one that could soon resolve into a powerful upward impulse. This phase of compression and sideways movement has historically preceded some of Ethereums most significant moves. Now, as ETH trades firmly above support and buyers defend dips, attention turns to the $2,700 and $3,100 resistance zones. If those are cleared, the multi-year consolidation thesis could be confirmed, potentially setting the stage for a new leg up and renewed leadership in the altcoin space. Ethereum Consolidates As Long-Term Setup Gains Attention Ethereum is showing notable bullish strength as it consolidates above the $2,500 mark and continues to defend gains made during its recent rally. Analysts across the market are increasingly calling for a bullish phase to begin, with several pointing to Ethereum as the catalyst for an incoming altseason. The broader crypto market is heating up, and ETHs recent recovery has positioned it as a frontrunner among major altcoins. However, despite the momentum, risks still remain. Ethereum is still down approximately 36% from its December 2024 high near $4,100. To confirm the start of a sustained rally, bulls must hold current levels and push decisively above the $2,800 mark. A clean break above that resistance could trigger an impulsive move higher and attract renewed capital inflows into Ethereum and the wider altcoin market. Mister Crypto has emphasized the significance of Ethereums current market structure. In his view, ETH has been consolidating for nearly four yearsa phase of accumulation that historically leads to powerful price expansions. The longer the consolidation, the bigger the pump, he stated, adding that he is extremely bullish at these levels. This prolonged consolidation builds a strong foundation, often resulting in breakout moves with high momentum. If Ethereum continues to hold above the $2,500$2,600 zone and clears $2,800 in the near term, it could mark the start of a multi-month rally. For now, traders are watching closely as price action develops and long-term technical patterns begin to align with improving sentiment across the crypto space. Related Reading: Ethereum Eyes $2.4K Retest Analyst Sets Key Levels To Watch Bulls Defend Key Support Levels Ethereum is currently trading around $2,617 after holding above the $2,500 support zone and showing signs of renewed strength. The 4-hour chart reveals a clear uptrend that began in early May, with ETH breaking through key resistance levels near $2,200 and $2,400 before consolidating just below $2,700. Price action has now formed a short-term range between approximately $2,560 and $2,700, suggesting bulls are preparing for another breakout. The 200-period EMA and SMA are trending upward, now positioned well below current price levels at $2,060 and $1,912, respectively, confirming strong bullish structure and momentum. Volume spikes during upward moves also support the case for continued demand. If Ethereum can break decisively above the $2,700 resistance zone, it would likely trigger an impulsive leg higher with $2,800 and $3,000 as immediate targets. Related Reading: $1.2B In Ethereum Withdrawn From CEXs Strong Accumulation Signal However, failure to hold the $2,560 area could lead to a short-term pullback toward $2,400, a previous resistance-turned-support level. For now, ETH appears to be in a healthy consolidation following an explosive rally, and bulls remain in control as long as the $2,500$2,560 range holds. The market will closely watch for breakout confirmation as Ethereum prepares for its next move. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Ethereum Flips Key Resistance Into Support Can Bulls Reclaim $2,000 Level?

Ethereum Flips Key Resistance Into Support Can Bulls Reclaim $2,000 Level?

Ethereum is now holding above critical support levels after a volatile few weeks, but it continues to struggle with reclaiming key resistance zones. Bulls have managed to regain some momentum, helping ETH stabilize above the $1,700 level. However, to confirm a true bullish structure and shift sentiment decisively, Ethereum must reclaim and hold higher ground in the coming days. Related Reading: Ethereum Attempts First Major Horizontal Reclaim In Months Can Bulls Hold the Line? Top analyst Daan shared a technical setup highlighting a promising development: Ethereum is flipping a previous horizontal level back into support. According to Daan, this marks a meaningful change in ETHs market dynamics, as its something the asset has failed to do for months. Instead of consistently rejecting resistance and making lower lows, ETH is now showing early signs of strength by defending critical zones. Still, the battle isn’t over. Global macro uncertainty and tensions between the US and China continue to pressure all risk assets, including crypto. For Ethereum, a daily close above key resistance could open the door to a more decisive move higher, while failure to do so could leave it vulnerable to another round of consolidation or downside. Ethereum Faces A Critical Test After Strong Recovery Ethereum has staged an impressive recovery, gaining over 32% from its local low of $1,383. Now trading firmly above $1,700, ETH faces a crucial test: holding current levels to shift its longer-term bearish price structure into a more bullish trend. After months of relentless selling pressure, this stabilization could mark the start of a larger reversal if momentum is sustained. However, broader macroeconomic risks still loom. The ongoing conflict between the US and China continues to pressure financial markets, with growing concerns that a prolonged negotiation process could disrupt global supply chains. If no resolution is reached in the coming weeks, risk assets like Ethereum could struggle to maintain their recent gains. A breakthrough deal, however, could quickly shift investor appetite back toward risk-on assets, fueling a stronger rally. Daans technical analysis highlights a major shift in ETHs behavior. For the first time in months, Ethereum is flipping a previous horizontal resistance zone back into supporta sign of strengthening market dynamics. Daan suggests closely monitoring the $1,750$2,100 range, as a firm hold above this area would signal a significant improvement in ETHs structure. A daily close above $1,750 and gradual consolidation within this key range would position Ethereum for a potential breakout toward higher levels in the coming months. Related Reading: Bitcoin Rally Lacks On-Chain Support Analyst Warns Of Vanishing Network Activity ETH Price Holds Above Key Support, But Challenges Remain Ethereum is currently trading at $1,790, maintaining its position above the critical 4-hour 200 EMA. This technical level has acted as strong support in recent days, providing bulls with a foundation to build momentum. Holding above $1,700 is crucial to maintain the bullish structure that has started to form after weeks of volatility and selling pressure. To confirm a strong recovery and shift into a sustained uptrend, ETH must reclaim the $2,000 psychological level. A decisive break and hold above $2,000 would likely attract renewed buying interest and could open the door for a move toward higher resistance zones. However, without a strong catalyst, bulls could struggle to maintain upward pressure in the short term. Related Reading: Bitcoin Reclaims Key Levels New ATHs May Be Closer Than Expected On the downside, losing the $1,700 support would signal growing weakness and likely invite further selling. A break below this zone could send Ethereum back into the $1,500 region, reigniting concerns of a prolonged consolidation or deeper correction. For now, the market remains cautiously optimistic, but all eyes are on whether bulls can build enough momentum to reclaim higher ground soon. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Ethereum Attempts First Major Horizontal Reclaim In Months Can Bulls Hold the Line?

Ethereum Attempts First Major Horizontal Reclaim In Months Can Bulls Hold the Line?

Ethereum is trading above $1,700 after a volatile few weeks, with bulls now trying to reclaim higher levels and flip resistance into support. Despite lingering macroeconomic tensions and the ongoing trade standoff between the US and China, markets are beginning to price in optimism as investors anticipate progress in negotiations. This renewed sentiment has lifted risk assets like ETH, which is showing early signs of a potential breakout. Related Reading: Bitcoin Reclaims Key Levels New ATHs May Be Closer Than Expected Analysts are closely watching Ethereums current price action, which suggests a possible shift in trend. Top analyst Daan shared a technical view on X, highlighting that ETH is attempting to retake its previous horizontal support around $1,750. If successful, this would mark the first time in months that Ethereum reclaims a key support level after previously rejecting it and setting lower lows. As Ethereum fights to regain lost ground, all eyes are on this critical level. A breakout here could lead to a renewed surge across the altcoin market, reinforcing growing speculation that the worst of the correction may already be behind us. Ethereum Bulls Attempt to Shift Market Structure Ethereum has rallied impressively, gaining over 32% from its local low of $1,383. This recovery has brought ETH to a critical price level, where bulls must hold and build momentum to break the broader downtrend that has defined much of 2024. A sustained move above current levels could mark a long-awaited shift in market structure, providing confidence that Ethereum is ready to trend higher over the medium term. However, broader macroeconomic forces continue to weigh heavily on investor sentiment. Ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China remain unresolved, with each new tariff threat adding further strain on global supply chains. These geopolitical pressures threaten to limit risk appetite, and any further escalation could stall Ethereums recovery. On the flip side, a diplomatic breakthrough could trigger a strong shift in investor positioning across all risk assets, including crypto. In the meantime, Ethereum must defend current levels to keep bullish momentum intact. Daan’s analysis highlighted that ETH is currently testing the $1,750 level, which previously acted as key support. If Ethereum can reclaim this horizontal zone, it would mark the first time in months that ETH retakes rather than rejects a critical level. Daan emphasized that daily closes above $1,750 are ideal and would confirm strength, potentially opening the door for a larger breakout. Related Reading: Ethereum Forms A Huge Inverse Head & Shoulders $20K Target In Sight? ETH Price Holds Key Levels, Bulls Must Reclaim $2K Soon Ethereum is currently trading at $1,770, maintaining strength above the 4-hour 200 EMAa key short-term indicator that has historically acted as both resistance and support during critical trend shifts. Bulls have managed to defend this level over the past few sessions, signaling growing confidence and momentum as Ethereum attempts to recover from its recent downtrend. Holding above the $1,700 zone is now essential to avoid triggering another wave of selling. This level has become the new battleground for bulls and bears, and continued consolidation above it may lay the groundwork for a broader rally. The next major objective is a decisive reclaim of the $2,000 level. A breakout above this threshold would mark a strong shift in sentiment and could trigger additional upside as sidelined buyers re-enter the market. Related Reading: Ethereum Adds 12% In 24 Hours On-Chain Metrics Point To Modest Resistance Ahead However, caution remains warranted. A failure to hold current support would invalidate the recovery narrative and open the door to further losses. If Ethereum breaks below $1,700 with volume, it could revisit the $1,500 level, which has acted as a historical demand zone. That would reinforce a longer-term bearish structure and delay any hopes of a full-scale recovery. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Ethereum Forms A Huge Inverse Head & Shoulders $20K Target In Sight?

Ethereum is now testing critical resistance after a sharp rally that has caught the attention of analysts and traders alike. Following days of strong upward momentum, ETH has reclaimed the $1,800 mark, recovering over 18% of its value since Tuesday. This impressive rebound signals renewed confidence in the asset amid ongoing global macroeconomic uncertainty and volatility in financial markets. Related Reading: Ethereum Adds 12% In 24 Hours On-Chain Metrics Point To Modest Resistance Ahead According to top analyst Gert Van Lagen, Ethereum could be on the verge of a historic breakout. In a recent technical analysis shared on X, Van Lagen pointed to a massive 4-year inverse Head and Shoulders pattern forming on Ethereums 1-week charta classic bullish reversal signal. With both shoulders now confirmed, the chart formation is targeting a long-term price objective around the $20,000 level. This development comes as Ethereum continues to strengthen its on-chain fundamentals and recaptures investor attention. While resistance levels ahead remain challenging, the breakout above $1,800, combined with the bullish long-term setup, has positioned Ethereum as one of the most promising assets in the current cryptocurrency landscape. If market sentiment continues to shift in favor of crypto assets, ETH could be entering a powerful expansion phase with $2,000 and beyond within reach. Ethereum Gears Up For A Rally Forming A Long-Term Reversal Pattern Ethereum is currently trading 57% below its multi-year high of $4,100, and many investors feel like a full recovery is still far off. However, growing optimism is surfacing across the market as crypto assets begin to regain momentum despite heightened macroeconomic tensions and a deepening trade war between the United States and China. With equities under pressure, Ethereum and other leading cryptocurrencies appear to be carving out independent trajectoriessomething analysts view as a strong bullish sign. According to top analyst Van Lagen, Ethereum could be on the verge of a major breakout. In his recent technical analysis, Van Lagen highlights a massive 4-year inverse Head and Shoulders pattern developing on the ETH weekly chart. This classic reversal formation suggests a long-term bullish structure is in play. If confirmed, Van Lagen believes the pattern could send ETH to an ambitious $20,000 target in the next market cycle. This reclaim is a positive signal for bulls, suggesting that momentum is building after a strong bounce from recent lows. However, the next critical step is to push above the psychological and technical barrier at $2,000. A decisive break and daily close above the $2,000 mark would confirm a trend reversal and likely open the door for a stronger recovery rally. Ethereum Analyst Sets $3,000 Target As Price Action Signals Momentum Details

Ethereum and the broader crypto market experienced a small but notable pump yesterday, reigniting hopes of a potential trend reversal after weeks of sustained selling pressure. As market uncertainty intensifies, driven largely by global economic tensions and geopolitical strain between the US and China, investors are closely watching for signs of a breakout. Related Reading: Ethereum Enters Historic Buy Zone As Price Dips Below Key Level Insights Despite the headwinds, analysts are starting to shift their tone. Some believe that the worst may be behind for Ethereum and that a strong move to the upside could be brewing. One of the most vocal among them is top analyst Carl Runefelt, who shared a bold outlook, suggesting that Ethereum “might go absolutely parabolic starting from here. His analysis suggests that ETH is poised to break out from a daily descending trendline, which could serve as a key technical signal indicating va shift in momentum in favor of the bulls. As Ethereum holds above critical support levels and inches closer to a potential trend reversal, traders and investors are now watching closely for follow-through confirmation. If volume and sentiment continue to build, this could be the beginning of a significant rally one that may reset expectations for the rest of the cycle. Ethereum Eyes Recovery Amid Rising Global Tensions Global tensions and macroeconomic uncertainty continue to weigh heavily on investor sentiment, with the ongoing trade war between the US and China sending shockwaves through equities and high-risk assets. In the midst of this fragile backdrop, Ethereum has managed to find a solid support level around $1,500 and is now attempting to reclaim higher ground. After weeks of selling pressure that erased bullish expectations for the year, ETH is showing early signs of recovery. Ethereums current price structure has become a focal point for market participants. The recent bounce from $1,500 marks a potential higher low, a technical setup often associated with trend reversals. If ETH can successfully push above the $1,700 mark and break the descending trendline, it could spark renewed momentum for bulls. Runefelt shared an optimistic view, stating that Ethereum could go up really fast from here. According to his analysis, the next key price target sits at $3,000, assuming a confirmed breakout above short-term resistance levels. Despite continued global risks, the Ethereum network remains fundamentally strong, with growing adoption in DeFi and real-world assets. If the breakout materializes and broader market sentiment stabilizes, ETH could lead the next leg of the crypto recovery. Related Reading: Metrics Reveal Solana Sees Uptick In Whale Activity Accumulation Signal? Price Faces Key Resistance As Bulls Struggle for Momentum Ethereum is currently trading at $1,630 after another failed attempt to break above the $1,700$1,800 resistance zone. This price range has acted as a major barrier over the past several weeks, limiting bullish momentum and keeping ETH locked in a broader downtrend. Bulls must reclaim the local high at $1,691, set last week, to signal a potential shift in structure and confirm the start of a recovery rally. A decisive move above $1,700 could open the door to a test of the $2,000 level, which would mark a significant psychological and technical milestone. However, the lack of follow-through on recent upside attempts reflects ongoing uncertainty across crypto markets, largely driven by macroeconomic tensions and risk-off sentiment. If Ethereum fails to gain strength above current levels, a retracement toward $1,500 is likely, with the possibility of further downside if selling pressure intensifies. This level has served as a critical support zone in recent weeks. Without a convincing breakout, ETH remains vulnerable to renewed weakness and deeper corrections. All eyes are now on whether bulls can build enough momentum to flip resistance into support and avoid another leg down. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Ethereum Trades At Bear Market Lows: Fundamentals Signal Major Undervaluation

Ethereum is trading below critical resistance levels after enduring weeks of heavy selling pressure and lackluster performance. Since breaking below the psychological $2,000 mark, the price has dropped more than 21%, signaling growing uncertainty among short-term investors. This decline has raised questions among market participants, especially as Ethereums on-chain fundamentals remain robust. Related Reading: Solana Turns Bullish On 8H Chart Break Above $147 Could Confirm New Trend Top analyst Ted Pillows shared insights suggesting that ETH is now trading near bear market lowsyet the network has never looked stronger. Over 95% of all stablecoin transactions are processed on Ethereum, and it still leads in Total Value Locked (TVL) across DeFi and Real World Asset (RWA) protocols. It is also the only altcoin with an approved spot ETF in the US, and numerous upgrades are lined up to improve its speed and reduce transaction costs. Despite these strengths, Ethereum’s price remains suppressed, leading to growing speculation: is this just market sentiment at play, or could it reflect coordinated manipulation to shake out weak hands before a reversal? As Ethereum continues to dominate the utility narrative in crypto, many long-term holders see this downturn as a strategic accumulation zone, while others brace for more downside. Ethereum Fundamentals Shine Despite Bearish Market Conditions Ethereum is facing a critical test as it trades near major demand levels while macroeconomic uncertainty deepens. Global tensions persist as US President Donald Trump escalates his trade war with China. The recent 90-day tariff pause for all countries except China has done little to ease market fears. As economic pressure builds between the worlds two largest economies, investors are increasingly turning away from high-risk assets like crypto, driving volatility across digital markets. Ethereum, like the broader crypto market, has suffered under this weight. The asset is now hovering just above bear market lows after a prolonged decline, prompting concerns over its short-term price action. Yet, despite the technical weakness, Pillows points to Ethereums strong fundamentals as a reason to remain optimistic. According to Pillows, Ethereum remains the backbone of the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. It processes over 95% of all stablecoin transactions, commands the highest Total Value Locked (TVL), and leads the charge in Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization. It’s also the only altcoin the US has approved for a spot ETF, adding institutional legitimacy. With several protocol upgrades ahead aimed at improving scalability and reducing costs, Pillows believes Ethereums current valuation could represent a long-term buying opportunity. As he puts it: if you believe in fundamentals, ETH remains the top bet among altcoins. Related Reading: Ethereum Price Stalls In Tight Range Big Price Move Incoming? ETH Price Stuck In Range: Bulls Eye $1,800 Breakout Ethereum is trading at $1,590 after several days of choppy price action between $1,500 and $1,700. The market remains stuck in this narrow range as bulls struggle to regain momentum amid broader macroeconomic uncertainty. The inability to reclaim key resistance zones has kept ETH under pressure, and a decisive breakout is needed to shift sentiment. Bulls are currently eyeing the 4-hour 200-day Moving Average (MA) and Exponential Moving Average (EMA), both sitting near the $1,800 level. Reclaiming this zone would mark a major short-term victory for buyers and could signal the beginning of a recovery phase. A clean break above $1,800 would also invalidate the current lower-high structure and potentially drive ETH toward higher supply areas near $2,000. Related Reading: Ethereum Whales Offload 143,000 ETH In One Week More Selling Ahead? However, the downside risks remain. If Ethereum fails to hold above current support levels and dips below $1,550, the next leg could send the asset beneath the $1,500 mark. For now, the $1,500$1,800 corridor defines Ethereums battleground, and traders are closely watching for a breakout that sets the next major direction. Ethereum Stays Below Realized Price: Once-In-A-Cycle Opportunity?

Ethereum surprised the market with a powerful bounce on Wednesday, surging more than 21% from its recent low of $1,380. The move came shortly after US President Donald Trump announced a 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs for all countries except China, which now faces a 145% tariff. This development injected optimism into global markets, triggering a broad recovery across risk assets with ETH among the top beneficiaries. Related Reading: Dogecoin Whales Buy Over 80 Million DOGE In 24 Hours Sign Of Recovery? Despite the relief rally, Ethereum still trades below critical technical levels, and the broader price structure suggests ongoing consolidation rather than a confirmed reversal. Analysts remain cautious, as the assets inability to reclaim the $1,800$2,000 range keeps the long-term trend in question. However, on-chain data from CryptoQuant adds an intriguing layer to the current outlook. Ethereums price is still trading below its realized price the average price at which all ETH in circulation last moved. Historically, this scenario has represented a high-probability accumulation zone, often appearing once per cycle. According to some analysts, this could present a rare buying opportunity for contrarian investors willing to look beyond short-term volatility and macro uncertainty. As Ethereum continues to consolidate, all eyes are on whether bulls can build on this momentum. Ethereum Faces Critical Test Amid Volatility And Trade Tensions Ethereum is at a pivotal point after enduring weeks of relentless selling pressure and extreme volatility. The broader market has been shaken by macroeconomic uncertainty and escalating global trade tensions, with US tariffs under Trump’s administration continuing to rattle investor confidence. The crypto market, particularly altcoins like Ethereum, has taken the brunt of this instability. ETH has lost over 60% of its value since late December, raising fears of a prolonged bear market. However, a shift may be unfolding. Bulls are beginning to reappear, with Ethereum bouncing and setting a strong support above $1,400. This recovery follows aggressive price swings not only in crypto but also in global equities, which have seen significant rebounds following the announcement of a 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs for all countries except China. Still, Ethereum remains below crucial resistance levels, especially the $2,000 mark a level that represents more than just a psychological barrier. According to top analyst Quinten Francois, ETH is currently trading under its realized price, which averages the cost basis of all coins in circulation. Historically, such conditions have presented rare buying opportunities. Francois suggests this might be a once-in-a-cycle or even once-in-a-lifetime chance for long-term investors to accumulate ETH at undervalued levels. The coming days will determine whether bulls can reclaim key resistance and shift sentiment toward a sustained recovery. Related Reading: Solana Approaches $125 Will 2-Level Filter Trigger A Long Signal? Price Action Details: Key Levels To Reclaim Ethereum is currently trading at $1,650 after failing to break above the $1,700 level, a psychological and technical barrier that continues to cap bullish momentum. Despite a sharp rebound earlier in the week, ETH remains stuck in a consolidation range and is struggling to find direction amid broader market uncertainty. For bulls to regain control and initiate a stronger recovery, Ethereum must push above the $1,850 mark a level aligned with the 4-hour 200-day moving average (MA) and exponential moving average (EMA). These indicators have acted as short-term resistance since ETH fell below the $2,000 mark in February and reclaiming them is critical for confirming a shift in trend. Related Reading: Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Show Conviction: 63% Of Supply Hasnt Moved In A Year However, if Ethereum fails to break above $1,750 in the coming days, downside risk increases significantly. A rejection at current levels could trigger another wave of selling, potentially sending the price below the $1,500 support zone. This would put further pressure on bulls and undermine recent gains. With market sentiment still fragile and macroeconomic uncertainty weighing on investor confidence, Ethereum remains at a crucial juncture where a decisive move above resistance is needed to shift the outlook from bearish to neutral. Ethereum Breaks Out Of Descending Triangle Pattern Fakeout Or Recovery Rally?

Ethereum (ETH) has been struggling around the $2,200 level, with bulls unable to reclaim higher prices despite multiple attempts. The market sentiment remains bearish, as ETH continues to face selling pressure even after Thursdays announcement of the US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, which many had expected to boost overall confidence in the crypto sector. Related Reading: 330,000 Ethereum Withdrawn From Exchanges In 72 Hours Supply Squeeze Incoming? As ETH hovers near critical demand levels, analysts believe that the next week will be crucial in determining its short-term direction. If bulls can defend key support zones, Ethereum may have a chance to regain momentum. However, failure to hold these levels could lead to further downside pressure. Top analyst Carl Runefelt shared a technical analysis on X, highlighting that Ethereum is breaking out of a pattern that often signals a potential breakout. If ETH follows this setup, it could push into higher resistance zones and reclaim key price levels above $2,500. However, confirmation of this breakout is needed, as market volatility remains high. Ethereum Bulls Hope For A Recovery Ethereum has suffered a steep decline, losing over 50% of its value since late December, triggering fear and panic selling across the market. Once a leader in previous bull cycles, ETH is now struggling to regain momentum, leading many analysts to question whether the long-awaited altseason will happen this year. With Ethereum and most altcoins unable to reclaim bullish structures, the market remains under bearish control, keeping investors cautious. Despite the negative sentiment, there is still hope for a recovery as Ethereum approaches key technical levels that could determine its next move. Runefelt’s remarks reveal that ETH is breaking above a descending triangle pattern, a setup that often signals a trend reversal. However, confirmation is crucial, as many past breakouts have turned into fakeouts, trapping traders in further downside moves. For Ethereum to solidify a bullish breakout, it must push above and close above $2,300. This level is a key resistance zone, and flipping it into support would indicate renewed buying strength, potentially opening the door for a push toward $2,500 and higher price targets. Related Reading: Solana Consolidates In A Wide Range Big Move On The Horizon? Until this confirmation happens, Ethereum remains at risk of further declines if sellers regain control. Traders and investors are closely watching whether ETH can maintain its breakout attempt or if it will face another rejection, extending its bearish trend into the coming weeks. ETH Key Levels To Watch Ethereum is currently trading above the $2,000 support level, a crucial last line of defense for bulls hoping to see strong performance this year. Holding this level is essential, as a breakdown below $2,000 could trigger further downside, reinforcing bearish sentiment in the market. Despite this, bulls have struggled to reclaim higher prices, leaving investors frustrated with ETHs lack of momentum. Recent price action has been choppy and indecisive, with each attempt at a breakout quickly met with selling pressure. This has kept ETH stuck in a tight range, preventing a clear shift in market sentiment. Related Reading: Litecoin Holds Bullish Outlook As the MVRV Ratio Signals Strength Analyst However, a decisive reclaim of $2,300 could mark a turning point. If ETH pushes above and holds this level, it would likely open the door for a move toward $2,500, strengthening the case for a recovery rally. Until then, traders remain cautious, as Ethereums struggle to gain traction continues to weigh on the broader altcoin market. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Ethereum Reclaims Realized Price Bulls Face Strong Resistance At $2,300

Ethereum (ETH) is once again trading above the $2,000 mark after several days of struggle, offering a glimmer of hope for investors looking for a recovery. The second-largest cryptocurrency has faced intense selling pressure in recent weeks, losing over 38% of its value since late February. Panic spread through the market when ETH broke below the key $2,000 level and later plunged under $1,800 a move that signaled weakness and raised fears of a deeper correction. Related Reading: Dogecoin Breaks Above Bullish Daily Pattern Analyst Sees A Surge To $0.43 Despite the volatility, market sentiment is beginning to shift. Some investors now believe that the worst may be behind Ethereum, and a slow but steady recovery could be on the horizon. Supporting this narrative, on-chain data from Glassnode reveals that Ethereum has reclaimed its realized price at $2,040 a level that reflects the average price at which all ETH in circulation last moved. This recovery of the realized price is often seen as a subtle but important bullish signal. It suggests that, on average, holders are back in profit, which may help reduce selling pressure and rebuild confidence in the market. For now, Ethereums ability to stay above $2,000 will be key to confirming a broader trend reversal. Ethereum Faces Pivotal Moment As Bulls Aim To Confirm Recovery Ethereum is beginning to show signs of life after weeks of uncertainty, but a decisive move is still needed to shift market sentiment. The $2,000 level, recently reclaimed, now acts as the key battleground for bulls attempting to ignite a meaningful recovery. As speculation builds around whether Ethereum will continue to trend higher or fall back into a broader correction, price action remains indecisive. Without strong conviction from buyers, the current bounce may fade quickly. To sustain any upward momentum, bulls must defend the $2,000 level with strength and consistency. A failure to hold this support could invite renewed selling pressure and invalidate early signs of recovery. For now, the price hovers in a critical range with no confirmed trend in either direction. Top analyst Ali Martinez shared an important on-chain signal on X, noting that Ethereum has successfully reclaimed its realized price at $2,040. This level reflects the average price at which ETH last moved on-chain and often serves as a pivot point for market sentiment. Martinez also pointed to $2,300 as the next significant resistance, with pricing bands suggesting heavy selling pressure at that level. Reclaiming $2,300 would mark a major technical breakthrough and potentially confirm a shift in trend. Until then, Ethereum remains in a fragile position, caught between renewed optimism and lingering caution. Bulls must step in with volume and follow-through to turn this early bounce into a full-fledged recovery rally. Related Reading: Ethereum Accumulation Is Almost Over Breakout Above $2,200 Could Trigger Expansion Phase Technical Details: Price Struggles Below Key Averages Ethereum (ETH) is currently trading at $2,070, hovering just above the crucial $2,000 support level. Despite recent attempts to regain strength, ETH remains 5% below the 4-hour 200 moving average (MA) and 200 exponential moving average (EMA) a sign that momentum is still tilted in favor of the bears. These technical indicators often act as dynamic resistance, and until bulls reclaim them, the path to recovery remains uncertain. For Ethereum to initiate a meaningful uptrend, reclaiming the $2,200 level is essential. A breakout above this zone would not only restore short-term bullish sentiment but also confirm a potential reversal from the recent downtrend. However, if ETH continues to struggle below the moving averages and fails to gain traction above $2,000, the risk of further downside increases significantly. Related Reading: Dogecoin Bollinger Bands Tighten On 12H Chart Hinting At Imminent Price Move Insights A breakdown below $2,000 could trigger a sharper correction, with the next major support sitting around the $1,800 level a zone that previously acted as a pivot during the February selloff. Ethereum Accumulation Is Almost Over Breakout Above $2,200 Could Trigger Expansion Phase

Ethereum is trading back above the key $2,000 level after spending several volatile weeks attempting to reclaim it. Since late February, ETH has dropped more than 38%, triggering widespread panic as the price broke below major support and briefly dipped under $1,800. The decline sparked fears of a prolonged downtrend, with many questioning whether Ethereum had entered a bear market. Related Reading: Dogecoin Bollinger Bands Tighten On 12H Chart Hinting At Imminent Price Move Insights However, sentiment is beginning to shift. Investors are now looking for signs of recovery as ETH stabilizes and retests important levels. A growing number of analysts believe that the recent volatility may have been a final shakeout before a new uptrend. Top analyst Ted Pillows shared insights on X, suggesting that Ethereum may be wrapping up its “manipulation phase.” This phase typically features erratic price action designed to exhaust both bulls and bears before the market commits to a clear direction. If the phase ends soon, Ethereum could rebound significantly in the coming weeks. As ETH hovers near $2,000, the next few sessions will be crucial in determining whether bulls can maintain momentum or if further downside lies ahead. Ethereum Bulls Face A Test As Expansion Phase Looms Ethereum is showing early signs of strength as it hovers just above the critical $2,000 mark, a level that has acted as both a psychological and technical battleground for weeks. Bulls are being called into action as the broader market begins to stabilize, with ETH price action hinting at a potential recovery. However, the situation remains fragile, with uncertainty dominating sentiment and no clear trend established yet. Speculation is split between those anticipating a deeper correction and others betting on a full-scale recovery. For now, Ethereum remains range-bound, and any breakout attempt must be backed by strong conviction to shift momentum. Bulls must defend the $2,000 level and begin targeting higher resistance zones to spark confidence in a sustained uptrend. Pillows stated that Ethereum is likely exiting what he calls the manipulation phase a confusing, price movement designed to exhaust buyers and sellers. According to Pillows, this phase is nearly over, and Ethereums expansion time is about to begin. A confirmed breakout above the $2,200 level would be the catalyst for a new expansion cycle, potentially sending ETH into higher territory in the weeks ahead. Until then, price action will remain sensitive, with the next few sessions crucial in deciding Ethereums trajectory. Related Reading: Ondo Finance Eyes Breakout As Price Tests $0.89 Channel Resistance Analyst But Bulls Face Key Resistance Ahead Ethereum is currently trading at $2,070 after managing to reclaim the $2,000 levela crucial psychological and technical zone that had acted as resistance in recent weeks. This move marks an important step for bulls who are now trying to solidify momentum and prevent further downside. However, the real test lies ahead, as ETH must reclaim the $2,250 level to initiate a true recovery phase. The $2,250 mark aligns with previous areas of heavy trading activity and could act as the launchpad for a broader uptrend if bulls manage to flip it into support. Successfully retaking this level would likely attract fresh demand and restore investor confidence, especially after the asset shed more than 38% of its value since late February. Investors Withdraw 360,000 Ethereum From Exchanges In Just 48 Hours Accumulation Trend?

Ethereum has experienced a much-needed surge above the $2,000 level, a key psychological and technical mark that bulls have struggled to reclaim since March 10. This breakout sparked optimism in the market, but the momentum was short-lived, as ETH quickly pulled back below the level and was unable to confirm a solid hold. Analysts widely agree that a strong and sustained move above $2,000 is critical for Ethereum to initiate a broader recovery rally. Related Reading: Dogecoin Forms A Daily Bullish Pattern Analyst Expects A Breakout To $0.43 Despite the hesitation at resistance, on-chain data shows signs of growing investor confidence. According to Santiment, investors have withdrawn over 360,000 ETH from centralized exchanges in the last 48 hours. This shift is often interpreted as a bullish signal, suggesting that large holders are moving their assets to private wallets, possibly in anticipation of higher prices. Meanwhile, the broader macroeconomic landscape continues to apply pressure. Trade war tensions and unpredictable policy decisions from the U.S. government have weighed heavily on both crypto and traditional markets, intensifying volatility and investor uncertainty. Still, Ethereums latest exchange outflows hint at a potential trend shift one that could favor accumulation and set the stage for the next major move, provided bulls can reclaim and hold above the $2K threshold. Ethereum Faces Critical Test Amid Exchange Outflows Ethereum has lost over 57% of its value since mid-December, falling from a high of around $4,100 to recent lows near $1,750. This sharp correction has created a challenging environment for bulls, who have repeatedly failed to reclaim and hold higher price levels. Now, the $2,000 mark stands as a psychological and technical battlefield. If Ethereum can firmly establish support above this level, it could provide the foundation for a recovery rally. However, a failure to do so would likely result in further downside and reinforce the bearish trend. Related Reading: Ethereum Trades At A Critical Level Major Reclaim Or Steep Drop Ahead? The current market landscape struggles with uncertainty. On one side, continued macroeconomic headwindsrising trade tensions, inflation concerns, and policy shifts from the U.S. governmenthave weakened investor confidence and driven volatility across risk assets. On the other hand, there are signs of potential recovery and accumulation. Top crypto analyst Ali Martinez shared data from Santiment, revealing that investors have withdrawn over 360,000 ETH from centralized exchanges in the past 48 hours. Historically, large-scale withdrawals are considered a bullish signal, as they suggest investors are moving assets into cold storage for long-term holding rather than preparing to sell. This move could indicate growing confidence among large holders and signal the early stages of a new accumulation phaseprovided Ethereum can hold above $2,000. Price Holds Steady Below $2,000 Ethereum is currently trading at $1,960 after briefly attempting to reclaim the $2,000 mark in yesterdays session. The psychological and technical resistance at $2,000 remains a crucial barrier that bulls must overcome to shift market momentum in their favor. Despite a small bounce from recent lows, Ethereum has struggled to gain traction amid persistent market uncertainty. Bulls need to push ETH above $2,000 and reclaim higher levels such as $2,150 and $2,300 to confirm the beginning of a recovery phase. A sustained move above these levels would not only signal a potential trend reversal but could also attract sidelined investors back into the market. Until that happens, Ethereum remains vulnerable to continued downside pressure. Related Reading: XRP Bulls Face A Big Test Metrics Show $2.40 As The Most Critical Resistance Level If bulls fail to break above the $2,000 resistance in the coming sessions, Ethereum could lose support at current levels and revisit lower demand zones around $1,850 or even $1,750. With the broader crypto market still under the influence of macroeconomic volatility and weak sentiment, the coming days are likely to be pivotal for ETHs short-term direction. A decisive move either above or below this key range will likely set the tone for the next major price action. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

130,000 Ethereum Moved Off Exchanges Bullish Signal?

Ethereum (ETH) is trading at its lowest levels since late 2023, struggling to regain momentum after an extended period of selling pressure. Since December 2024, ETH has lost over 57% of its value, failing to reclaim key resistance levels. With the broader crypto market facing macroeconomic uncertainty and persistent volatility, Ethereum’s downtrend appears far from over. Related Reading: 640,000 Chainlink (LINK) Withdrawn From Exchanges In 24 Hours Bullish Accumulation? Despite the ongoing decline, on-chain data suggests that large investors may be positioning for a recovery. According to CryptoQuant, whales have moved over 130,000 ETH off exchanges in the past week, signaling a growing accumulation trend. This pattern has been developing since Ethereum started trending downward, suggesting that institutional players and long-term holders are buying the dip in anticipation of future price appreciation. While short-term sentiment remains bearish, historical data shows that large whale accumulations often precede strong rebounds once selling pressure fades. However, ETH still faces significant resistance, and bulls must reclaim key levels to confirm a potential trend reversal. With market uncertainty still looming, the next few weeks will be critical in determining Ethereums next major move. Ethereum Whale Activity Hints At Optimism Ethereum has been under massive selling pressure, struggling amid macroeconomic uncertainty and trade war fears that have shaken both the crypto market and the U.S. stock market. ETH is now trading below a multi-year support level, which could act as a strong resistance in the coming weeks. If bulls fail to reclaim key price levels, the stage could be set for a deeper correction. However, not all indicators are bearish. Despite the ongoing downtrend, some analysts remain optimistic about Ethereums long-term prospects. Top analyst Ali Martinez shared insights on X, revealing that whales have moved over 130,000 ETH off exchanges in the past week. This is significant because large investors typically move their holdings off exchanges when they plan to hold for the long term rather than selling. When whales transfer ETH into private wallets, it often signals accumulation rather than immediate selling pressure. Historically, such trends have preceded market rebounds, as reduced exchange supply can contribute to price stability and future upside potential. Related Reading: Whales Accumulate Over 150 Million XRP In Just 48 Hours Is A Rally Incoming? While Ethereum still faces major hurdles, whale activity suggests that smart money is positioning itself for the next move. The next few weeks will be crucial in determining whether ETH can reverse its downward trend or if further declines are ahead. Bulls Fight to Hold Key Levels Ethereum is currently trading at $1,904, struggling to regain momentum after days of consolidation below the $2,000 mark. The ongoing selling pressure has kept ETH under key resistance, making it difficult for bulls to reverse the trend and start a recovery. For Ethereum to regain a bullish outlook, bulls must reclaim the $2,000 level as soon as possible. A sustained push above this resistance would signal strength and could set the stage for a rally toward higher levels, potentially testing $2,250$2,400 in the coming weeks. However, if ETH loses current levels of demand, the next major liquidity zone sits around $1,600. A breakdown below $1,750 could trigger further sell-offs, leading to an extended bearish phase that could delay any potential recovery. Ethereum Net Taker Volume Signals Huge Selling Pressure Can Bulls Hold Key Levels?

Ethereum (ETH) is facing significant selling pressure, trading below the $1,900 mark as market uncertainty continues to weigh on price action. After losing the critical $2,000 level, ETH plunged as low as $1,750, marking its lowest point since October 2023. Bulls are now under pressure, as they must defend the current demand zone to prevent further downside and restore investor confidence. If bulls fail to hold current support levels, ETH could see further declines, adding to the bearish sentiment that has dominated the market in recent weeks. On-chain data from CryptoQuant reveals that Ethereums Net Taker Volume remains at a low level, indicating that selling pressure is still strong. This suggests that market participants are leaning bearish, with more sell orders than buy orders dominating Ethereums price action. With ETH trading in a vulnerable position, the next few days will be crucial. If bulls can stabilize the price and push ETH back above $1,900, a potential recovery could begin. However, if selling pressure persists, Ethereum may continue its downward trend, testing lower support levels in the coming weeks. Ethereum Faces Heavy Selling Pressure Ethereum has lost over 57% of its value, creating an extremely difficult environment for bulls as the market remains in a deep downtrend. Currently, ETH is trading below a multi-year support level, which has now turned into a strong resistance zone. As ETH struggles to break back above the $1,900$2,000 range, the bearish trend continues, with bulls failing to regain momentum. Since the U.S. elections in November 2024, macroeconomic volatility and uncertainty have been the dominant forces in driving markets lower. With no clear resolution in sight, investors remain cautious, as the U.S. stock market has now reached its lowest levels since September 2024. Top analyst Quinten Francois shared data on X, revealing that Ethereums Net Taker Volume is at historic lows, signaling intense selling pressure. This indicates that sellers continue to dominate the market, preventing ETH from staging any meaningful recovery. Until buyers step in with strong demand, ETH may remain stuck in a bearish phase, with further downside risk if key support levels fail. With Ethereum struggling below critical resistance and selling pressure increasing, the next few weeks will be pivotal in determining whether ETH can stabilize or if the market will see further losses. If bulls cannot reclaim lost ground, Ethereum could face even deeper corrections in the near term. ETH Stuck In Range As Bulls Fight to Reclaim $2,000 Ethereum is currently trading at $1,880, remaining range-bound between $1,750 and $1,950 since last Monday. This tight trading range has kept ETH in a consolidation phase, with neither bulls nor bears gaining full control over price action. For Ethereum to start a recovery rally, bulls must push the price back above $2,000 as soon as possible. A break and close above this psychological level would indicate renewed buying momentum, allowing ETH to potentially test higher resistance levels. However, Ethereum remains in a fragile position, as selling pressure continues to weigh on the market. If ETH fails to hold its current levels and breaks below $1,750, it could result in a steady continuation of the downtrend, with further downside risks emerging. Bears would likely target lower support zones, extending the bearish phase and delaying any chance of a sustained recovery.
