All Quiet On The Bitcoin Front — BTC Price May Be Ready For A Big Move

BTC Price: Bitcoin has been very boring lately.  But is this the calm before the storm?

All Quiet On The Bitcoin Front

The past 24 hours have been rather uneventful for the Bitcoin (ticker symbol: BTC) Price.  BTC is still holding above support.  Still hanging below resistance — not doing much other than bouncing around in a tight range.

At the same time, if you’ve been reading my daily updates on Bitcoin, you’ll know that I’ve recently looked at multiple ways one could interpret the current chart pattern that’s forming. Some bullish, some bearish.

In other words, it’s not giving us much sense of direction at all.

BTC Price: The Calm Before The Storm

When Bitcoin gets boring like this, people tend to stop paying attention.  But something to be aware of is the fact that times of quiet often precede the big moves.  We may not know which way that move will be, but we can be sure that it’ll come soon.

So let’s keep our eyes on the prize, and not get caught with our pants down.

Something To Watch Out For

Ever since Bitcoin pulled back from the current all-time high at $69,000 USD, it has failed to sustain any price action above the 20 Simple Moving Average (represented by the yellow line) on the four-hour chart.

I will be watching this metric very closely.  A very good sign of strength-building will be to see price consistently holding above that line.
