What Is Azuki NFT?

Azuki NFT is a collection of 10K unique avatars built on the Ethereum blockchain. Your Azuki is your exclusive membership to The Garden and your identity in the Metaverse. Via their site, they explain “The community ownership in Azuki allows for a new genre of media which the world has yet to explore.”

In the second half of January, Azuki’s absolutely dominated in sales and sales volume. They were able to bring their floor price up almost a full 10 ETH in a matter of two weeks. The bull run on sales was kicked off from a RedBean DAO purchase. On January 25th, they announced their aggressive purchase of the 2nd rarest Azuki. They completed this sale for an impressive 120 ETH, which is over a quarter of a million dollars.

Azuki is building its rare brand for the Metaverse and they want the community to lead the charge and it looks like they’ve been doing a fantastic job. The exclusive Garden is a corner of the internet where art, community, and culture will fuse to create Azuki magic. It is clear that the lines between the physical and digital worlds are merging and the Azuki holders are getting ready for what is to come.

Team Behind Azuki

The team is located in Los Angeles, CA and their members have a great mix of backgrounds in crypto, technology, and gaming. They have all come together with one goal in mind; work to build a decentralized brand for the future.

Steamboy is one of the artists behind Azuki and their brand. He previously was the Overwatch Character Art Director, before joining the Azuki team. Joo, who has worked on the Street Fighter Comic and Genghiskwan are the other two artist name via their website.

Location TBA is an ex-Facebook engineer and has come to the Azuki team to race Zuck to the Metaverse.

Azuki’s were up for mint earlier this month and quickly sold out. You will now have to shop via the secondary markets to secure yours. Currently, they hold an impressive floor of 12.5 ETH and have had a constant flow of sales volume this past week. When most new projects have this much instant success, there usually is a second collection on the horizon. There has been no announcement, but that may end up being your best way to enter The Garden, especially if these floor prices keep moving the way they have been.
