This Terra Washington Nationals partnership extends into several areas like branded in stadium signage and sponsored content via social platforms. 

 

Terra Luna announced last week that they were partnering with a sports franchise by the name of redacted. Today after the voting was officially passed, the true identify of the partnership was revealed as MLB franchise Washington Nationals.

  • This partnership includes the Terra branding prominently displayed in the premier club directly behind home plate — for non-baseball people that’s the best view in the stadium — at Nationals Park. Terra branding will also be featured within the stadium.
  • Terra is also sponsoring a five-part series being broadcasted digitally across the Washington Nationals social platforms.
  • “The Nationals continue to push the envelope,” said Mark D. Lerner, owner of the Washington Nationals. “We are excited to partner with Terra to name our most exclusive club and explore bringing powerful new fan experiences to Nationals Park, including the use of UST cryptocurrency to make purchases.”
  • Arguably the biggest news from this release is that, according to their press release, UST (Terra’s native stablecoin) could be accepted at the Nationals’ park as early as next season.
  • The partnership is not as large as Crypto.com’s naming rights deal. Though, it’s another big step for crypto gaining mainstream recognition.
