Axie Infinity Suffers Another Attack, This Time on the MEE6 Bot
- There has been a compromise of the MEE6 bot which was installed on the main Axie server.
- RTFKT, PROOF/Moonbirds, PXN, Memeland, Cool Cats and many others have also reported their admin accounts being compromised.
- All of this has impacted the AXS token as it dropped from a high of $169 to $20.
Axie Infinity announced in a Tweet on May 18 that “there has been a compromise of the MEE6 bot which was installed on the main Axie [Discord] server
1/ There was a compromise of the Mee6 bot which was installed on the main Axie server. The attackers used that bot to add permissions to a fake Jiho account, which then posted a fake announcement about a mint.
