.Mars4 (MARS4)

For the space fanatics, “go to mars” people, and Elon Musk enthusiasts, the upcoming Mars4 metaverse game may be for you. The metaverse game takes place on Mars, using a real 3D NASA map to construct the most realistic version of Mars. The idea is for players to be able to explore Mars in virtual reality and build a colony into a thriving metropolis. The overall aim of the game is to create a harsh reality of what life would be like on Mars, and players will need to survive as they explore and build up their colonies. Players, also known as ‘colonists’ in the game, will be able to create up to 3 character NFTs for free and inhabit and work together with other ‘colonists’ to build thriving colonies and enjoy a survival co-op mode, exploring together.

The game is still in its early stages, and although they don’t have too many partnerships yet, they have some big backers, including the founders of Illuvium. Furthermore, the trailer looks great, and they have already sold over 50k land NFTs. If the developers and team are able to pull this off (which they definitely could!), expect Mars4 to be one of the top metaverse games in the future. The first playable version of Mars4 is expected to launch in Q3 of 2022.

Mob Land (SYNR)

You may have heard of the upcoming game called Sin City, well they recently had to change their name due to legal reasons, and the game is now called Mob Land. This upcoming crypto game is one that should not be ignored. Mob Land will be the first ‘Mafia’ themed metaverse game built on the blockchain. The game will use Binance’s NFT network, and NFTs for the game will use the Polygon network, making this a fast and gas-friendly game when it comes to transactions on the blockchain.

Mob Land will be a metaverse RPG play-to-earn game, and the project has multiple aspects in its final plan, including NFTs, taxes, digital land, a DeFi aspect, and much more. In terms of gameplay, though, the game aspires to be the GTA of the blockchain, where the main goal is to become the ultimate kingpin. Players will be able to join a ‘faction’ (aka gang) to help them complete quests to become the ultimate kingpin. Players will run their own business, run their own crew, and build their own syndicate to achieve ultimate kingpin status. The game is planning to release a beta soon and has some top tier investors behind the project, including  Justin Kan and Animoca Brands.

Illuvium (ILV)

Illuvium has to be one of the most anticipated upcoming crypto games yet in terms of gameplay. The game has the most impressive art in a blockchain game yet, with a truly impressive storyline and gameplay idea, along with an incredible team and great partnerships. Illuvium will be the first AAA blockchain game being developed on Unreal Engine 4 and will certainly not disappoint.

Illuvium is an open-world game, where the storyline begins with the player’s spaceship crashing into an alien world with many different climates, environments, extreme weather events, and unusual beasts (called Illuvials). Players then take the role of a hunter and set out to explore the world and capture Illuvials while continuing to unlock more and more of the world. Players will be able to capture Illuvials, and if successful, the illuvial will show up in their wallet as an NFT.

Once players have captured some Illuvials, they will be able to fight in PvP or PvE modes. Each Illuvial has a different class and affinity, which have advantages/disadvantages to other Illuvial types. Furthermore, the player gets to fight alongside their illuvials and can own certain weapons and armors as NFTs to assist in battle as well. This game is reminiscent of franchises like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, which only screams its potential. Their private beta will be released very soon (in the next couple of weeks). Although it is only available to a small number of users, it is a promising step for such an anticipated upcoming project. How can you not want an illuvial with artwork like this?!\
