What is DourDarcels NFT?

DourDarcels is a 10K collection built on the Ethereum blockchain. These one-eyed fun color, minion-like NFTs minted on March 5th for .1 ETH. Although these recently hit the NFT scene, their look may seem familiar.

Darcel Disappoints, created by Craig Redman, are illustrations, fabric designs, and editorial designs filled with simple messages and, of course, Darcel. Created in 2008, Darcel documents and blogs the highs and lows of living life in New York. Darcel has been published work in the New York Times, and Vogue also has covered Louis Vuitton store openings and Paris fashion week.

The collection is focused on high-quality art with sharp, colorful traits and variations. As many projects are, the goal is to be a long term sustainable project that always puts the community first. Less than two weeks from mint, it seems from the success of the project they are doing a fantastic job. A combination of great art, a fun history, and a strong community could lead to DourDarcels becoming a major player in the NFT space.

Where & How to Buy?

As mentioned above, these minted and sold out on March 5th. However, you can find them on the secondary market, their official OpenSea page can be found here. At the time of publishing, they carry a floor right below 1 ETH. Which is quite impressive considering their price has 10x since mint, which was not even two weeks ago. Of their 5,000 holders, a lot of them hold blue-chip NFTs, and that is always a positive sign when thinking about entering a project.
