GCG Dutch Auction: Gutter Juice

Gutter Cat Gang (GCG) held their pop-up Dutch Auction yesterday for 16,000 Gutter Juice NFTs, which can soon create GCG Clones. Mint was delayed due to a Discord interruption but kicked off at 4:20 PM EST. The price started for each Gutter Juice was at .9 ETH and worked its way down, as a Dutch Auction does, to .1 ETH within 4 hours.

There will be a total supply of 28,000 Gutter Juice NFTs. 16,000 were made for public sale today, and another 12,000 are being airdropped to all Gutter Species (Cats, Dogs, Pigeons & Rats) holders. Each person who public minted was given a random juice species, with the reveal occuring later in the evening.

Using a Gutter Juice on any species in the Clone Machine will produce a Gutter Clone with an updated version of matching traits. This WILL NOT burn your existing Gutter Species— they will remain unharmed in the cloning process. You will only be able to use Gutter Juice once per NFT — you will not be able to level up the Juice.

Using the Gutter juice by itself will create a Gutter Clone with randomized traits. With this option, YOU DO NOT need to hold a Gutter Species. GCG created an affordable way for new members to join their Gang with this concept. Since you do not need to hold a current Gutter Species, holding the Gutter Juice alone will create you a Gutter Clone.

These did sell out during the Dutch Auction but are available for sale on their official OpenSea Gutter Juice page. They currently hold a floor of .137 ETH and have 7K unique holders at the time of publishing. With a supply of 28K, it’ll be interesting to see where the floor goes, but this is a great entry price to enter into a blue-chip NFT project. Keep in mind when shopping, Gutter Cat Juice is at a higher demand due to that being their original species.

Lastly, GCG recently signed a partnership with Puma last month, so it seems these cats are cooking up something.
