Aavegotchi is a digital collectible game built on the Ethereum blockchain, similar to Tamagotchi. Players can purchase unique NFTs called Aavegotchis, train and battle them, and breed them to create unique offspring. They can also earn in-game currency (GHST) by participating in battles and other activities on the platform. To play the game on Polygon, players will need to install a wallet that supports Polygon, such as Metamask, and have some Polygon (MATIC) in the wallet for gas fees. They can then connect the wallet to the Aavegotchi website, purchase and mint Aavegotchis as NFTs, and enter the Gotchiverse to collect alchemica, battle in the arena, claim reservoirs, and interact with other players.
