Following the low-grade art display, Syber Pixelmon, the founder team of Pixelmon also remarked that the reveal was unacceptable. He stated that the team would not leave the project regardless of the fud. However, the team will utilize the raised funds to develop the NFT game, he added.

In another post tweeted by the team, they said that the Pixelmon artworks were created by a small team, with limited funds. Magic media was not involved in the launching process. Syber also stated that they did not have any evil intentions to put down the game players and said they would be fully transparent about what had happened.
