August 27 Weekly Signals Summary
Although Bitcoin has crossed 50k after three months, it couldn’t hold the volume and price divergence level on higher timeframes. It is currently retesting the daily SMA 20 level around 47000. BTC hasn’t lost this SMA level after 23 July and so far successfully rejected it three times. Price is highly volatile about the $2Billion worth options expiry happening today.
Bitcoin dominance hasn’t moved that much this week and is currently at 44.5 as of this writing. With Bitcoin’s price also moving in a very tight range, most cryptocurrencies and altcoins haven’t moved much. Some of them have pumped based on the fundamental news, and most of them hold their level this week.
If bitcoin successfully rejects the current level, we can see testing the 52k zone again. But the low volumes and increased inflow to the exchanges are an indication; we may see a further drop in prices. Daily SMA 200 and Daily EMA 20 rests near 46000, losing this level means we may see retesting the daily EMA 50 level (43000), and if prices can’t hold this level too, we can expect the Daily EMA 200 and Daily SMA 50 levels retesting which is around 40250 for now.
