BT’s Metaversal Is Both a Music Album and a Cryptographic Treasure Hunt
Grammy-nominated producer and technologist BT is no stranger to innovation. Since the beginning of his career he has been known as one of the pioneers of the IDM genre and credited as the inventor of Stutter Edit. The influential technique was later developed as a plug-in and used by countless electronic music artists.
After 25 years of producing and collaborating with artists such as Madonna, Sting, Tiesto, and David Bowie, BT has a particular excitement with what blockchain technology could mean for the industry. He recently shared a positive outlook ahead of is second blockchain-focused launch:
“I believe blockchain technologies will liberate the arts and free artists of all stripes to be able to release meaningful media at will and be celebrated and remunerated fairly. It’s a miracle that in our lifetime it’s possible to combine creative coding, digital treasure hunting, cryptography, art, and music into a single unified project. I’m humbled to be alive and to create to witness this.”
