Bware Labs BLAST-ing off with its New API Infrastructure Platform

  • On March 22, Bware Labs announced the general availability of its API Infrastructure Platform.
  • The release is called BLAST (Bware Labs API Service Terminal) and provides several new features for its users.
  • Bware Labs’ next plan is to onboard node owners in an incentivized testnet.

Bware Labs announced the general availability of its API infrastructure platform on March 22.

The GA release of BLAST (Bware Labs API Service Terminal) delivers a refined UX and new ‘Projects’ capability, enabling the separation of user environments. Additionally, users can now test generate endpoints before deploying them inside applications via visualizations and an integrated Playground space.

BLAST’s new ‘Projects’ capability gives users the ability to separate multiple environments while supporting the development of programming libraries. Also, the ‘Projects’ capability enables users to generate an individual API endpoint for each supported blockchain network within a single Project space.

According to the user’s subscription plan, the total number of ‘Projects’ a user can create may vary.

Furthermore, BLAST also brings new usage analytics in the form of charts and visualizations. As a result, users can monitor, plan, and adapt their infrastructure according to their application requirements. Users can view charts on various aggregation stages; from on a per-endpoint visualization, all the way up to global statistics.

Additionally, there is a new testbed feature called Playground. Here, users can test generate API endpoints by adapting method parameters and verifying the response prior to launching their applications into production.

Users can choose from three different subscription tiers:

  1. Free tier:
  2. Up to 12M requests per month
  3. Limited to 25 RPS
  4. Support for up to 10 WebSocket connections per endpoint
  5. Developer tier:
  6. Up to 18M requests per month
  7. Limited to 50 RPS
  8. Support for up to 20 WebSocket connections per endpoint
  9. Startup tier
  10. Up to 45M requests per month
  11. Limited at 100 RPS
  12. Support for up to 100 WebSocket connections per endpoint

The subscription plans are available for any length of time, and users have the option to extend or switch to another tier at any time.

Users pay for their subscriptions in stablecoins. This is to streamline integration with the crypto ecosystem and maintain predictable value for infrastructure costs. Furthermore, users are required to use a Metamask wallet to authenticate and add funds to their accounts.

According to a statement obtained by CoinQuora, Bware Labs’ next focus is on onboarding node owners in an incentivized testnet. In this phase, the protocol for monitoring and enforcing the standards for reliability and performance of the decentralized API infrastructure will be validated thoroughly. Moreover, Node providers will be incentivized via a share of the platform’s revenues alongside the option to stake BWR tokens for additional rewards.
