- The 5-year pact, worth upwards of $15 million, includes cryptocurrency payment options and NFTs. Crypto.com branding will appear on Fnatic team jerseys during tournament appearances.
- It’s the first ever esports sponsorship for Crypto.com. However, they have several major sponsorship deals with major sports brands like UFC, Formula One, and the Montreal Canadians.
- Crypto.com has not been as aggressive as FTX in seeking partnerships, but the exchange certainly is taking a similar strategy employed by Sam Bankman-Fried. The partnership follows FTX’s move into esports last month.
- Kris Marszalek CEO of Crypto.com says this isn’t just an important moment for his exchange: “We’re really excited to launch a fully integrated partnership with Fnatic, which marks a milestone for our industry.”
