Post the courtroom drama, former U.S. President Donald Trump lashed out at the Biden administration and its handling of the currency. The former president has projected that the United States dollar would no longer be the world’s reserve currency if its current decline continues.
There was an Indictment on 34 criminal charges of fabricating company documents which was handed down last Thursday. The billionaire is accused of paying pornstar Stormy Daniels hush money to keep quiet about an affair they had before his 2016 presidential campaign.
After returning to Florida and entering a not-guilty plea in a Manhattan court at about 3:30 p.m. ET, Trump gave an impassioned address at his Mar-a-Lago club in which he vented his frustrations, rejected the allegations made against him, and attacked his political opponents.
Record High Inflation and Bank Failures
Predictions of the end of the global reserve currency of the United States were made, with blame placed on the actions of the current administration of President Joe Biden for the country’s record-high inflation and recent bank failures.
Trump may be pessimistic about the value of the dollar, but it doesn’t make him a Bitcoin optimist. He has been quite vocal about his disdain for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, saying that they are all “scams” that need to be controlled so as not to “take the edge off of the dollar and the importance of the dollar.”
Yet, it seems that Trump has no issue with NFTs since both he and his wife have used them to generate money by introducing their own signature collections. Sales of the ex-digital president’s artwork skyrocketed amid the recent indictment.
