Flare Network’s State Connector Goes Live on Songbird platform

    • Flare centers on cross-chain interoperability where single-core protocols cannot be integrated by each chain.

Turing platform Flare Network has launched its State Connector on its Canary network Songbird, CoinQuora has learned.

The State Connector will enable states of on and off-chain open systems to be validated for smart contract use and safe transmission to other blockchains. It maintains the security of a full node, strengthening the decentralized feature of blockchain technology.

Flare claimed that its new core Web3 protocol provides answers to the interoperability problems of blockchain technology. Notably, these interoperability issues have been long-standing, and existing cross-chain solutions have not been satisfactory.

Interestingly, Flare centers on cross-chain interoperability where single-core protocols cannot be integrated by each chain. The State Connector does not require any code modification on the integrated chain.

Moreover, Flair says that the State Connector observes and proves the state of any open deterministic real-world data source in a decentralized manner. The outcome is then relayed to any contract on the network or any connected blockchain.

According to Flair, this process of the State Connector helps avoid the risks linked to current centralized oracle models while opening up opportunities for new utility and business ones.

The network added by saying decentralized applications can be created that react to real-world events, such as bank transactions, insurance claims, sports outcomes, house purchases, or educational attainment.

Flair Network expects to see a transfer of information and value across the blockchain ecosystem by merging cross-chain interoperability with the security and speed of multi-chain.

Hugo Philion, CEO and co-founder of Flare, shared his excitement, saying that this development was a “huge leap forward” for the company.

It’s also a huge leap for the blockchain space in general, with the State Connector providing a long-needed and compelling solution for secure trustless cross-chain interoperability with any chain.

Philion is excited about “seeing what developers will build” to access value, information, and liquidity on multiple chains via a single deployment on the platform.
