Gaming Platform Axie Infinity (AXS) Generates $364M Revenue in August 2021

Axie World data revealed that the popular play-to-earn gaming platform AXS generated revenue of nearly $364 million (or 120,547.17 ETH) in August. This is the highest revenue generated since the launch of the platform.
In the year 2018, 2019, 2020 AXS generates $530,739 or 1114.39 ETH, $576,282 or 4,397.95 ETH, $801,432 or 2,105.6 ETH respectively. Notably, until July AXS generated $214 million or 99,407.32 ETH. Moreover, the combined revenue generated totals approx $216 million or 107,025.26 ETH which equals only 59% of revenue produced in August alone.
Added to this, the platform also broke its record of an average active monthly player of 10,705,547. This is achieved as the AXS platform was registered by 678,017 players who play the game daily.

In addition, the revenue generation statistics show that the demand for the AXS platform came in 2021 with more than 40% users from the Philippines. As per CoinMarketCap data, the AXS price has surged over 14K% in 2021. More so, the AXS price started its trading at $0.84, currently, it stands at $78, at the press time. It started the year trading as low as $0.84 but it currently stands at $78 as of the time of this writing. It is currently ranked 36th by market capitalization which currently stands at $4,756,754,168.
