Shoutout to @jack, Alex Morcos and Martin White for stepping up to protect Bitcoin developers from getting bogged down by lawsuits so they can focus on what they do best. Really cool to see come through the bitcoin-dev mailing list this evening. pic.twitter.com/oQBKtLm32k

- The fund is strictly for Bitcoin, seeing as that this is a Jack Dorsey initiative. Dorsey is a bitcoin bull through and through.
- “Litigation and continued threats are having their intended effect; individual defendants have chosen to capitulate in the absence of legal support. Open source developers, who are often independent, are especially susceptible to legal pressure.” Dorsey said via email.
- Dorsey also said via email that that “the fund’s first activities” will be to replace the fund in place to protect developers against Craig Wright, a.k.a. the Tulip Defense Fund.
- “Shoutout to [Jack Dorsey] Alex Morcos and Martin White for stepping up to protect Bitcoin developers from getting bogged down by lawsuits so they can focus on what they do best. Really cool to see come through the bitcoin-dev mailing list this evening,” Marty Bent tweeted out.
- Bock recently posted new jobs looking to strengthen their Bitcoin mining and wallet divisions.
