Louis Vuitton’s NFT Game, ‘Louis: The Game’, Hits Landmark 2 Million Downloads
In August 2021, French luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton launched a non-fungible token (NFT) game to celebrate its 200th anniversary.
‘Louis: The Game’ Hits 2 Million Downloads
Louis: The Game follows its protagonist, Vivienne, through six different worlds, where she needs to overcome challenges, collect 200 candles, and discover collectibles to commemorate the birthday of Louis Vuitton.
Less than a year after its launch, Louis: The Game has received more than two million downloads. The mobile game is available on both Android and iOS devices.
Updates Driving the Game’s Playerbase
The NFT mobile game was initially released with 30 embedded NFTs designed by famous NFT artist Beeple. Since then, Louis Vuitton has rolled out consistent updates, keeping players captivated.
At the end of April, Louis Vuitton released a new dimension to the game, allowing players who had reached the end of the base game to access two new expansion levels —’Radiant City’ and ‘High in the Sky’.
The new content allows Vivienne to navigate and win ten new NFTs. In addition to this, players who advance through each of the game’s cities will gain the chance to qualify for new NFTs which will be distributed through a raffle system until August 4th–when Louis Vuitton celebrates its 201st anniversary.
