Well, I would say that in terms of Web3, especially in gaming, many overlook the fact that users often want entertainment, not some super-technology. Largely, developers behave like developers and lose sight of their audiences needs. If you take a global look at the crypto audience, its a world of its own where imaginary millions of dollars are born and disappear every minute; all this speculation is a big entertainment. The one who can capture the audiences attention wins.

The main challenge is that the audience is not getting what it wants; they are trying to take traditional products and at best, add NFTs to them. But this will change, and I think soon, as Web3 products are introducing new gaming mechanics and new possibilities for games that did not exist before.

  • How do you envision the future of gaming and blockchain merging, and what role will Chainers.IO play in this evolution?

The Play-to-Earn paradigm is transforming gaming by rewarding players with tangible value, such as cryptocurrencies or NFTs, for their in-game successes. Thanks to blockchain technology, theres a new era of digital asset ownership, where gamers can truly own, exchange, and monetize their virtual items across various games and platforms. This innovation paves the way for a seamless and interoperable gaming ecosystem.

As the concept of the metaverse gains momentuma unified virtual space where physical and digital realities mergeblockchain stands out as a foundational technology. It facilitates digital ownership, identity verification, and secure transactions, making it instrumental in developing metaverse environments where users can engage, play, work, and conduct trades more freely.

Blockchain is also revolutionizing game funding and monetization strategies through Initial Game Offerings (IGOs) and asset tokenization, offering developers a novel way to connect with and finance their projects directly through their player communities.

When we initially ventured into this field, clear technical guidance was scarce, leading us to rely heavily on trial and error. The technical obstacles are ongoing, requiring anyone involved with blockchain to be flexible and ready to tackle new challenges. At Chainers.IO, weve adopted a culture of constant learning and innovation to navigate these challenges.

For Chainers.io, our main hurdles were centered around Web3 and blockchain. Selecting a primary blockchain for our project was daunting. We evaluated several platforms, including Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Solana, etc. However, we realized none could meet our needs for transaction speed. Consequently, we opted for our custom sidechain based on Polygon Edge, a decision made challenging by the scant documentation and information available, necessitating a trial and error approach to ensure a safe and stable blockchain operation.

Another significant challenge was simplifying the blockchain user interface to ensure accessibility for users with no prior blockchain experience. Addressing this issue required the implementation of a secure system of custodial wallets on our site.

  • How do you combine blockchain with classic computer games?

Lets take Chainers.io as an example. The combination of blockchain and classic computer games in Web3 offers a new and unprecedented layer of entertainment  ownership and a real economy. This adds transparency to transactions and distributing value among players, and establishes governance systems.

Additionally, smart tokenomics and monetization in games provide opportunities for distributing monetary value among players, adding new dimensions for player engagement. Considering all players have information about the game and can influence it, were looking at a completely new and different type of online entertainment. The value of ownership in Web3, with the emergence of new approaches and gaming models, is only set to increase. This is what we are actively working on at Chainers.io.

  • Based on your NFT experience, what strategies are most effective for creating and sustaining a vibrant NFT community?

We have always prioritized a player-centric approach to developing a thriving community. Transparency is vital; we ensure open communication, and actively engage and value community feedback, shaping the development of our project. Meeting their needs builds trust and a sense of ownership. We focus on honesty and integrity and avoid empty promises to foster a loyal and strong community.

Engagement and value delivery are critical. We have organized exclusive events, sweepstakes, and rewards for our NFT holders, as well as educational content and a friendly atmosphere on social platforms. Our goal is to create an ecosystem where everyone feels valued and invested in our success.
