Moralis adds support for Moonbeam Network to boost Polkadot development tools
Web 3 development platform Moralis said it has added support for Polkadots parachain Moonbeam Network across its Application Programming Interface (API) suite, according to a press statement shared with CryptoSlate.
Moralis helps developers solve issues they face when transitioning from Web2 systems to decentralized blockchain apps through its APIs. The Moralis APIs can be used to build new projects and integrate into existing decentralized applications (dApps) that use the solution.
For context, Moonbeam developers can incorporate wallet functionalities through Moralis Wallet API and access comprehensive data of token prices, NFTs, transactions, real-time on-chain activities, user engagement, market insights, and trend data.
Furthermore, the collaboration would open Polkadot to other networks as developers on different chains can integrate Moonbeam support for various dApps using Moralis. According to Moralis website:
Moonbeam offers familiar tools and integrations, easing the transition for Ethereum developers into the Polkadot ecosystem.
Moralis CEO Ivan Liljeqvist expressed excitement about the integration, emphasizing how it will streamline the development of top-tier dApps for the crypto industry. He added:

Similarly, Moonbeam Head of Operations Aaron Evans highlighted the partnerships significance in expanding opportunities for builders. He stated:
This partnership will expand opportunities for our builders and provide greater support for the passionate developers who share Moonbeams vision of creating a truly integrated Web3 ecosystem.
In 2022, Moralis raised $40 million in a Series A funding round, including notable investors like Coinbase Ventures. Since then, its API has secured notable adoption from some of the biggest Web3 projects, such as MetaMask, Blockchain.com, and Opera.
