Nayib Bukele is the New Speaker for the Bitcoin Conference 2022
At the Bitcoin conference held in 2021, Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador, spoke about his intention to make crypto a legal tender in his country. In 2022, he will update the eager audience about the process El Salvador undertook in adopting Bitcoin, and how cryptocurrency is providing vast opportunities to its citizens.
Bukele stated that Salvadorians have more Bitcoin wallets than bank accounts. With the profit generated from Bitcoin, Bukele plans to build new schools in El Salvador, as well as to build “Bitcoin city,” which will be free from income, property, and capital gain taxes.
The conference will be held in Miami from April 6th – 9th, 2022 with the purpose of connect all Bitcoiners – industry leaders, CEOs, innovators, BTC holders, and even precoiners – in one place.
The conference, organized by Bitcoin Magazine, is marked as the largest Bitcoin event in history, and will host over 35,000 Bitcoin enthusiasts, and 3,500+ attending companies from all over the world.
