NEXT Becomes a Real Coin, Launches Exchange

NEXT is the native coin for the exchange by the same name. The token started as an ERC20 and has now migrated to it’s own chain. It’s a coin that can be merge mined with BTC. This allows it to tap into Bitcoin’s security while adding value to the mining of NEXT.
NEXT chain swapped and shrunk
30 million has been settled as maximum supply. The distribution is an interesting one at 45% mined & 55% staked for future rewards.
Benefits for the NEXT holder
Holding 100 NEXT will give users 50% trading fee discount, a share of platform fees, early access to IEO’s, use of fiat gateways, auto staking, and other utilities. The token has swapped to it’s own coin to start 2020 and has shifted focus to trading.
That’s enough for me, most native exchange tokens have the discount and trading pair utility. I care about the share of fees, max supply, and inflation rate going forward. The first 2 look great for NEXT and the 3 isn’t bad considering how early in development NEXT chain is.
The NEXT hybrid exchange is getting close to launching a new trading interface. I’m already on the exchange & submitting details for KYC, I’ll post a more detailed review at launch. The dutch based group has healthy competition but their timing seems ideal.
