Bryan Solstin: Bitcoin Legal Tender
I declare my candidacy for US Senate. Making #Bitcoin Legal Tender in the USA will be my primary objective on the Senate floor.#Bitcoin is the Great Reset.

Democratic candidate for Washington state senate Bryan Solstin announced today that making Bitcoin legal tender will be a focus of his if elected. “I declare my candidacy for US Senate. Making #Bitcoin Legal Tender in the USA will be my primary objective on the Senate floor,” Solstin said via Twitter.
Solstin comes to politics by way of engineering, having worked in aerospace. The former Boeing executive isn’t new to the space. He’s appeared on several Bitcoin podcasts in the past and openly discussed the cryptocurrency on Twitter.
The Bitcoin-friendly senatorial candidate is not the first political candidate to float Bitcoin as legal tender. Though, unlike the recently unconstitutional state senate bill proposed in Arizona, Solstin’s platform promise is at least plausible because Bitcoin becoming legal tender would have to pass through the halls of the senate that Solstin wishes to reach.
Though, it’s unlikely to get the votes any time soon.
Can Bitcoin Get Solstin Elected?
Solstin is running in Washington state, which is a Democratic stronghold. Meaning, if he managed to get past the primaries, he would likely find his way to Washington D.C.
However, the Democratic candidate has his hands full. He’s in a crowded field that includes Democratic incumbent Patty Murray. Recent polls suggested she would beat her Republican opponent. No current primary polling is available.
Not to mention, Solstin’s opponent is deeply entrenched in Washington state politics, having served the state since 1993. Democrats as a whole are unlikely to endorse non-incumbents. That doesn’t mean insurgents never win — AOC is an example — it’s just that the wins are rare without the DNC apparatus greasing the wheels. But they can happen. Just need a little elbow grease from Bitcoiners.
