The popular meme-based crypto-asset Shiba Inu (SHIB) has shown a massive gain this year. In fact, it drove itself into the top 11 market positions, according to CoinMarketCap. At the time of writing, SHIB has $4.02 billion in the last 24-hours.
In addition, Shiba Inu took the number one spot for the most valuable coin of the year since its inception. To clarify, the crypto analyst — Jon Erlichman shared a tweet where he talks about the fiat statistics of most altcoins one year after.
As per the $1,000 amount invested one year ago, Shiba Inu leads with $740,259,740 followed by Axie Infinity with $1,082,920. Moreover, these cryptos gave its investors more returns than it envisioned.
Recently, Shiba Inu’s presence is building competition. So far, it has garnered a substantial user-based adoption in the crypto market.
According to WhaleStats, SHIB has made its way to become the biggest ERC-20 token holding. Moreover, SHIB made its way to the top by superseding major tokens like CRO, OKB, and BEST.
