In February, Metro, a prominent Singapore-based department store, allowed its customers to use stablecoins like Tethers USDT for transactions. The country is rapidly becoming a hub for crypto adoption, with reports from January showing that Singapore issued double the number of crypto licenses in 2024 compared to the previous year.
