Ethereums co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, has addressed growing concerns regarding the leadership of the Ethereum Foundation (EF), making it clear that he remains in control of its future direction.
Buterin rejected the call for a change of leadership on his social media, saying only he is entitled to decide who new members of the EF leadership will be. He emphasized that reforms to make a proper board were already in the pipeline but until that time, this was his personal responsibility.
Buterin lashed out at the negative effect of social media, saying that some of Ethers top developers were dismayed by the poisonous environment fostered by some community participants. Lubin responded with a clarification of the fact that decentralized leadership is indeed present but that all systems must have some type of leadership.
