While anyone can play the Mooning Monkey crash game, only owners of MMs will receive profit shares. By owning a Mooning Monkey, you’ll be a shareholder of an NFT with major utility. You’ll also be able to level up your MM, which increases their value — and gets you rewards!
Along with the NFTs, Mooning Monkey creators are releasing a sci-fi comic as additional NFTs with their own utility. And what about a Mooning Monkey token? Well, they’ve got that covered, too, with the $TAK token. $TAK can be used in a variety of ways throughout the game and Mooning Monkey ecosystem.

MM is a crypto version of a classic crash game. Crash games involve placing a bet with crypto — or fiat — on something specific happening. For instance, you can wager that your Mooning Monkey will reach the moon. If your MM reaches the moon, the terms of your bet has been filled giving you lots of high rewards. But, say your Mooning Monkey crashes before getting to the moon. Well, then… you get nothing. Good thing you can cash out at any point!
What Sets It Apart?
Not only do Mooning Monkey NFTs have a gaming aspect but, unlike many other play-to-earn NFTs, you can wager on game outcomes. In most other play-to-earn NFT games, you have to pay a fee to play. And these games often have limits on how much you can win and relatively low reward amounts.
With Mooning Monkeys, there’s excitement from the get-go by getting to wager on the game and your very own MM. And, the rewards can be much higher than many other NFT games! MM also has a lot of NFT utility through more traditional means, like tokenomics, airdrops, shareholding, and more.
Another unique aspect of the Mooning Monkey NFTs is the ability to level them up. Each tier your MM levels up comes with a daily $TAK airdrop. The info below details how the higher level MM(s) you own, the higher $TAK you will yield:
- Level 1– Mooning Monkey / 10 Tokens airdropped Daily
- Level 2– Galactic Gorilla (=4 Mooning Monkey) / 40 Tokens airdropped Daily
- Level 3– Alien Gorilla (=3 Galactic Gorilla) / 120 Tokens airdropped Daily
- Level 4– Eternal Yeti (=2 Alien Gorilla) / 240 Token airdropped Daily

When Does It Launch?
Mint date for Mooning Monkey NFTs on Solana is December 16th. Note that you’ll need a Phantom Wallet in order to mint. A handy guide on how to mint Mooning Monkey NFTs can be found here.
$SOL token will be used to buy MMs, so make sure you put some on your Phantom wallet. Each MM will cost 2.99 $SOL. And, you’ll be able to mint up to 12.
