Will The NFL Let Tom Brady Get Paid In Crypto?
“I’d love to request that to get paid in some crypto,” Tom Brady said on the Let’s Go Podcast.
During an episode of his new podcast Let’s Go, 7-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady announced he is open to accepting crypto payments as part of his NFL salary.

- Brady is open to receiving payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Though, he didn’t say only those exclusively.
- Solana, of course, is closely connected to FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried, of which, Brady already has a working relationship with. He signed an endorsement deal with the exchange back in June.
- Brady and his wife Giselle recently shot a very funny commercial for FTX. You can watch it above, if you didn’t already.
- Host of Let’s Go Jim Gray asked Brady if he thought the NFL and its union would let players get paid in crypto. The long time NFLer deftly avoided answering directly.
- However, Brady drew comparisons between the statistical revolution in sports and digital currency. “There are so many statistical variations in baseball and football and its really has changed the way these sports are being played.” He added, “I definitely see a world where players are going to be paid in cryptocurrencies in the future.”
- Let’s Go Podcast launched earlier this month. Hosted by veteran sportscaster Jim Gray episodes alternate between Brady and fellow NFL star Larry Fitzgerald.
