Yellow Card adds mobile money payment options to it’s App
Yellow card has recently launched a new payment option in Uganda to make it easy for Ugandans to enjoy selling and buying crypto.
Now Ugandans can buy and sell crypto currency (Bit coin) more seemlessly using Mobile money integrated in the application.
It is no new gist that Yellow Card prides itself to be the safest place to trade in Cryptocurrency in Uganda. It is the easiest and fastest platform to use with several other amazing features just for you such as the various multiple payment options of Bank transfer, cash and now Mobile money using MTN mobile money and Airtel money, all available on the Yellow Card platform.
The mobile money payment option is currently available to people using any of the Yellow Card wallets.
How to Transact with Mobile Money:
- Sign in to your Yellow Card account
- From your dashboard select deposit
- Choose the Mobile Money option
- Enter the amount you want to deposit
- Enter your mobile number and select your mobile money provider ( MTN or Airtel)
- Confirm the deposit information and authorise the transaction on your mobile device. Your account will be credited instantly with the deposited amount.
Now that you have deposited ugx into your account, go to your dashboard and select Bitcoin. Enter the amount you want to buy and confirm the details. Your bitcoin wallet will be added to your wallet immediately.
How to withdraw bitcoin with Mobile Money in Uganda:
You can also sell bitcoin on Yellow Card and withdraw your money directly to Mobile Money. This may be bitcoin you already have in your Yellow Card wallet or you can also send from other external wallets to your YC wallet and sell.
First, from your dashboard go to your bitcoin wallet and sell the amount of bitcoin you want. Then to withdraw the money:
- From your dashboard, select withdraw
- Select Mobile Money
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw
- Enter your mobile phone number and Mobile Money provider
- Confirm the withdrawal details and input your 4-digit PIN
- Your money will be instantly sent to your mobile number.
In addition to the bank transfer option, you can now buy and sell bitcoin instantly in Uganda with the mobile option.
Initially, Yellow Card was built for the US markets to buy gift cards at Walmart, making it easy to use bitcoin to trade. The founders extended their crypto exchange service to the African market.
Yellow Card is aiming to bring digital currency to the unbanked and underserved of the world on their own terms by creating a tax base network and distributing its point of sale technology so that people can buy and sell cryptocurrency easily.
Yellow card distributes its technology currently in several African countries: Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Botswana, Cameroon, Zambia, and Uganda. The business is rapidly expanding to more locations.
